Castles around Neuschwanstein
are in
walking distance to the old, but vibrantly alive town of Fuessen. Castles,

only built under  King Ludwig
II of Bavaria but date as far back as 1200. The rich
history of this area itself has thoroughly formed this romantic and spectacular
landscape. The old Roman Road Via Claudia

Romantic Road goes all the way from Wuerzburg to Innsbruck. Fuessen - has a
